Loud Thud When Engaging Reverse Gear

So meaning by replacing the sensor tge thud sound will go off?
How about the prop shaft centre bearing bush....do you check it?
Just my thinking....

I have yet to change the sensors. Will probably do it tomorrow. Lets see if that helps. But the thing is, when he did a reset, after diagnostics showing fault with the temperature sensor, the problem went off immediately. So seems like it is electronics related.
On the center bearing - yes, got it checked by a different mechanic and he said its fine.

Guys - FYI. I had the auto transmission temperature sensor changed 1st November and have NOT had the problem since. This fault with the temperature sensor was picked up by my mechanic a long time back but he said that a faulty temperature sensor will not affect the functioning of the transmission, as it only picks up temperature reading, which kinda made sense to me. Hence that is why I was looking at other areas for the cause i.e. drive shaft. So the thing I learnt is never dismiss any fault in troubleshooting problems, especially if it is electronics related.
