Looking for e39 530i Msport

Mav,the 530i Msport that I saw is a 2001 model..wudn't budge from asking price,so I'll let it be for a while.Tak apa la,pelan pelan kayuh.I've actually booked a mk6 Golf GTi so if all else fail,I'll probably revert to this la.

Still hope I'll find a decently priced 530i Msport,cuz if I go this route,tak payah hutang lagi..just plonk in the twinscrew supercharger and viola!! A 350bhp e39!

If I decide to take the Golf GTi route,I'll have to sell off the supercharger and get a small loan as well.Not optimal but acceptable la..mind u,the Golf GTi is good for 272bhp/400+Nm with a Revo remap,not a slouch either especially with the superquick DSG'box.

So both route fine by me..so Eddiefiola,u interested in the Twinscrew?

Yes it was around three years ago we last met. I also find it difficult to find replacement for my E39 525i. So far, BMW is not on the list. Probably, next change is gonna be an Audi. Porsche kalu, I need a Panamera. Anything with 2 doors, wife won't approve.

He drives an e60 525. He wasn't around when when you came to my house. Just like yourself, he drives really fast all the time.I believe his ESS supercharger is meant for his future E39 530i. So brader, if you come across a really motivated seller please, please let us know. Thanks.

I think for your standard (since you got 4 stripes), better go for Audi A4. This is plan 'C' (ver. 2) for you. You'll get a more sober car with extra space inside out and pretty quick too. Also turbocharged. Boot space is larger than E90. Got extra money to burn go for the Q5. Also under VW group. Porsche testbed brother.

Agreed. New MPSL list just published...widebody conversion in the making...so, $$$ wont be much of a problem. (not like you have much of a prob now)..hahaha...nway, good luck in your quest n do keep us updated.

is ur current e60 auto or manual transmission? any increase in top speed?

supergripen, u 4 stripes right, why not go for 2nd hand 996 turbo? gtr? 135i/335i/m3 dsg? rs4? rs6? ooopss sori, u don't want hutang lagi......fark.....the list will go on n on..... if only diesel euro4 available in msia, i get the 335d.....

audi good car, but must be quattro. the fwd, just throw in the dustbin. if u want conti fwd, go for golf, scirocco or megane f1. focus rs available in msia?

Not keen to get cars that are heavily taxed..just not in the mood to pay more ridiculous dead end taxes that does not benefit me one bit,that on top of the ott thankless good for nothing income tax that i hv to pay every month.

e39 still the best choice,combined with the fantastic ESS twinscrew supercharger and a manual tranny swap,will make one helluva car..next to an M5 that is.

As for the ESS TScrew,pm me ur offers and i'll consider.Mind,a brand new kit now retails for approx rm25k,excluding taxes and delivery etc.

Any more e39s for sale?? Most msport models i've enquired are still asking for over rm120k..for a 9 yr old car.Need more options.

My e60 is an auto..top speed definitely increased,abis meter bhai.As for the s/c,I can't go below rm25k..cost me a helluva lot more when i brought it in.

Porsche? If i had that kind of dough,a GTR35 or a supercharged e90 m3 wud suffice for me.Tapi apa kan daya..

I think you better stick to the E39. In terms of money spent versus performance ratio you'll get the best bang for your buck. Having driven E60 for a while, you'll find maintaining an E39 is going to be a breeze. Most importantly, after the sc transplant I believe your future E39 will keep you happy for a long, long time. In the meantime, just be patient and I hope you won't make a wrong decision.

This car I've already seen..good condition but owner always accompanied by a loudmouth car dealer who does all the talking.When I called,he claimed that its a personal sale but when I got there,the loudmouth dealer finally admitted to being a dealer.
Wouldn't budge from his price..had to go via the dealer to deal,which pissed me off a little.

But car is in good condition.Worth it if the price is right..but not at rm125k la
