Looking for e39 530i Msport

It's a facelifted E39 but the headlamps are from pre-facelifted ones just like mine. Hmmm....
I'm surprised it doesn't come with electric memory seats & electric rear roller blinds for a 530i

But the sat/nav, msport wheels and Mbumpers make up the rest...

errr..nope those aren't. Facelifted ones have the indicators facing frontwards. Google the e39 headlamps and you'll know what i mean

No big deal...can always uplift it if you want.

I know what you mean now. Hmm. I just realised that.

Maybe you can make some noise at your dealer....may help get you facelifted ones

Will try to contact him if anything can be done. Otherwise theres plenty of BMW breakers to source an original replacement. Original new is around £400. Can't pay that now cause I've just ordered my paddleshift systems.

Anyway thanks for the heads up bimmerholic. Appreciated. Keen eye you have there, I thought there was something wrong with the headlights when I viewed it but I thought its just a bit tired. Now I know why.

Have you double checked vehicle info from DVLA (under vehicle enquiry) also since you probably have the V5C and MOT docs by now, you can also check with motinfo. You can do it all online. Here you can see all the advisory notice issued and the odometer readings from previous MOT tests. Congrats on your brilliant car!

Yes all already been done. I use the textcheck (easier on the phone on the site). The vehicle is the correct year and registration, no hidden history etc. All service has been done, not missed and all stamped in the service book. Thats why I'm confident although its a high miles car.

I can get a set of new angel eyes set (halogen, not xenon) for £344, and could recoup some of the costs from the existing lights. Thinking....

Okay all items bought now for my car, just have to wait for it to arrive and install myself. Items that I've bought:

1. E46 M3 SMG steering wheel (new) with paddleshift retrofit kit to fit the E39

2. Original Hella Xenon Angel Eyes facelift headlamp (used)

3. Front cupholder (not installed factory fitted - so will need this la)

4. Glove box torch (missing from the car).


After all this is done I'll have to sit quietly, no more mods as run out of money now...hehe. I need to find a good vacuum and give the engine bay a clean up and a good wipe. Whats the best way to clean the grease and dust from the engine?
