You can get it from ingress auto,auto Bavaria or Quill Auto. It takes about 2 hours for them to download it to your hdd.

If I remember correctly, above one thousand but below two thousand. Most people update their map every alternate year to save cost.

Yes look for Bimmercoder. He can update for you at a cheaper price.

Try go to website fscmap. They only charge you 50usd and they will need your vin number. You download the map and install in your car yourself.

I've update mine using a third party servise from the web. Cost me 49EUR (RM210), paid by PayPal. There is also a forum member providing the service at a slightly higher price.

Well, the update is obvious, more new roads are included (e.g. LATAR was not in 2012, now it's included), more POIs (I've checked in my area) but I've not travelled and checked all around KL/Klang valley. The voice is still the same sexy voice. I think also included are some new helpful driving instructions, like "prepare to go straight" which was not in the 2012 version. In my view I think it's worth an updtae, and should be relevant for another 2-3 years at least.
