GPS map for F10 535i UK spec

Hi,My brother in law just bought F10 535i UK spec (grey import). Everything fine except the GPS. Because its from UK, there is no Malaysia map for GPS. Anyone know how to fix this? Can DIY or need to send to workshop? Any good reasonable workshop.Thanks

If not mistaken, those GPS map is stored in the car Hard Disk Drive (HDD). And the map is coded to work with the specific car VIN. So you can't duplicate it... I think you got to buy original from BMW and install by the authorised workshop.

May be now there is somebody can do the trick......try search internet...Google.

New 2012 maps from dealership is around RM1k ++. I think they have started providing this already. Can call them to find out.
