Bro, what car you're driving? Haha. We're all still learning to pace ourselves. Like the pros said, the more often we attend such drives, only that we're able to learn more about our cars, and how to improve our driving habits, especially when travelling in a convoy, where everyone looks out for each other.

Since most of the travelling would probably be covered via ELITE/NSE, I would say our cars can easily travel at high speeds during those legs. :D

Bro,Im driving E46 328i.. Ur 7-series sure can go faster than mine.. I like travelling in convoy.. And attending those TT's are the best...

Earlier this month,I drove to Singapore,I did 210kmph but I didn't dare to stretch it... scared.. my hands started to feel wet.. haha... Even at 210kmph, it feels like driving at 130kmph on my old ride(MyVi)..

LOL. Bro, can go faster and whether driver willing to go that fast is another thing. :D Hehe. Sure, my car 3 L engine, but fastest I've taken it also around 170km/hr only. Serious! Haha.

Highway maybe can stretch legs a lil, but ultimately, it all boils down to driver's own skills and guts. :D

I guess when I did 210kmph, the whole road was empty. It was at 6.30am when I drove at that speed. But only for awhile. Your car is a 3L M54 engine? 170kmph is not exactly the speed I had in mind. I thought your car can reach up to 220-230kmph?

My skill and guts is small.. Haha...

My car very old bro. 1987 model. Haha. Mine's the M30 engine. My car can indeed go way higher, but probably I myself don't dare to push it that hard since I'm inexperienced. :D

Bro, 328i very powerful lah!

going there can speed since still early and traffic light.. but coming back would take longer..

FYI, if you don't turn off at Ayer itam exit, you can reach the 2nd link toll in another 45min... So it's a long way for an early morning breakfast..

But i haven't confirmed yet... I didn't say Ill be going..

BTW, not sure if Dengkil R&R is still under renovation... Anyone knows?

Think Dengkil hasn't fully opened up yet. However the renovations look completed..as least that's what it looks like when I just turned in to go to the Esso station...this was just last Wed..

Dengkil R&R on the way towards KLIA; along ELITE highway. Just after the Putrajaya exit from MEX. Where are you staying bro? If from Klang Valley area, we just need to get on the NKVE, head south towards Klang/Shah Alam route then turn out before the Shah Alam Stadium.

I'm not too sure at what speeds they'd be travelling at. If I do manage to join the run, I'd probably prop up the rear cos I'm too slow! :D

Yup that's the one...There's 2 petrol stations there, Esso & Shell..Dengkil R & R would be the one on the highway heading towards KLIA..it's about 7km from the KLIA turnoff.

If from NKVE just follow the signs towards JB/KLIA...the turn off is just before Shah Alam stadium..continue all the way on the highway until you pass the Putrajaya/Cyberjaya turn off then you will find Dengkil R & R about 2 km from the turn off..

Im staying at Damansara Damai. Near Sungai Buloh. I have never been to dengkil before and it would be the first time. I think I can google it and get the coordinate.

The previous time I follow the other members to Gohtong Jaya Drive, everyone drive super fast. I was the last to reach as well.. Very mensia-soikan. But safety comes first.. Bro,we both be the slow ones.. haha... at least got someone accompany me to be slow...

Once highway speeds it's pretty constant so you needn't worry too much..:)

Cheers :)

I'm afraid everyone have to becareful with their speed as I think there would be speed traps right? Unless u can travel at 200kmph,the cameras will not be able to catch ya..

The malaysian speed cameras can get u at that speed or even higher speed...

I the 6 a.m. rule written in stone...? I feel sleepy already..yawn...thinking of the get-up-time i.e. 5 a.m or earlier...Best 7 a.m. and I am sure we don't mind finishing in KL after 12 noon...say 1.30 p.m when we can all sit down and have lunch together. When we get back to KL too early like before 1 p.m, most of us are still not hungry for lunch( from the breakfast) and then we all shoot off to head to bed for that afternoon nap (recovering from the 5 a.m. wakey wakey alarm shreak). What do you guys think? Is the traffic to Kluang really that bad after 7a.m. on a Sunday morning? You guys have done the Kluang run before of course, and your comments are much appreciated.

I second Docrayboy's suggestion. It would be a waste to rush back. I do believe that those whom have a bit of time to settle for lunch at 1 or 2pm on a lazy Sunday afternoon before retiring for the day hehe :top:

That we would have plenty to share and laugh about and of course enhancing fellowhip. ;)

I am joining for the run! :)

I triple szehoong's seconding my suggestion! ha ha! Don't know whether there's such a thing or not-tripling a motion. It's all about camaraderie and comradeship-(same words actually! ha ha ha!)..so with an hour's extra sleep we can have more time and be in a better more restful, less sleepy state to have more fellowship with our BMW comrades!

Wah....very energetic and gung-ho reply hehe :D

Would like to hear what others gotta say bout his. I know that there are some whom must be back for luncheon and other matters so they could always opt out of our lunch extention. Our luncheon is just a bonus hehe :top:

it's 1st of OCT and we have 9 more days to go and looks like the chorum is not picking up and we have members that requesting for time ammendment + breakfast and lunch for some ....and we have some that's rushing after the drive back home etc etc ....also we don't see any CM on the list ..could be busy due to the annual dinner preparation etc etc ...
so we can see that there is lotsa obstacles to this drive at this moment

therfore may i propose this drive to be cancel to another date later ..perhaps after the annual dinner ?? this is just my humble suggestions ....

deep over to you sir

cheerss
