Just added the filter yesterday (RM297), could notice immediate improvement in pickup and smoother gear change. The guy said to maintain the filter every 10,000km, only charging rm8 to do the cleanup.I am very impressed..now thinking that I should have gone for the open pod filter hahahahae36, 318i, 1996

i got my K&N panel filter for RM250 and so far, it' s been serving me well hehe..pick up is noticeable, but not to a very powerful rate..jes slight improvement. you can't expect much from jes a replacement stock filter as compared to an open pod. But open pods have their disadvantage as well. Do a search on previous threads concerning air filters to find out more!

huh?... how come i did not experence any power gain when I put in my K&n filter?

Jumpman, where did u get yrs? Was thinking of going for it (not the open pod type, tho I LUV the sound it makes when it sucks in the air!) - had one for my clubman!

Only slight improvement but still noticeable. Better throttle response. Can install 2 or not? Keke :D

I got mine from my mech. Pm me or sms me if u'd like one..i help u get. =) yeah..open pod..sound super nice..but conditions apply haha..

best only if u have proper CAI and heat shield.......

btw, measure ur stock filter element surface area. Ur open pod filter surface area MUST BE bigger cos if smaller, u r choking the engine.....just my experience.

choose wisely.
