Well rounded performer..go for Goodyear F1, consistenltly voted best tyres for many years kick off PS2 SO2..value for money, aggresive tread, although sidewall might not to everyone taste.. :D ..want beautiful sidewall go for slick tyre..kau kau one....but tread life would not last you more than 20k km :D

b4 this using michelin.. 15"

using firenza now... 17"

get firenza maybe coz its cheaper compare to michelin 17" :D
the performace i guess still not bad la...
anyone using firenza out there?how was it?

I noticed Dunlop Sp Sport Max was ranked number one in the Tirerack survey. But how come I nvr saw anyone use it or even talk about it in the forum? Is it unavailable here?

Mazin aka whl

whl, klang got sport maxx mah ...i was quoted appx 450 i think for 225/45 17

I tot the Kumho's did extremely well in the survey. Makes sense as a buddy has these Kumho's on 17" on his lowered Vios and his car rides so much better, and quieter than my Jazz on 15" with the Bridgestones..

e46fanatic...pretty interesting to hear kumho now in this thread...ur the first to say kumho is good...kumho not paying u rite?..just kiddin mate :D
Keep the reviews comin in...this is good coz we all drive udm's and its important to know whats best for our safety n those around us :D

I am pretty sure not all Kumhos are good. Just like Bridgestone, Pirelli etc got good models and not so good ones. Based on the survey results and high consumer rating and feedback, can try the Kumho model if its much cheaper la. Thinking about it when the bridgestones hangus on the Jazz. Definitely will not get replacement RE040s on the Jazz... Decently grippy on dry but noisy and hard.

ylkhor....yea lor...i agree oso with what u say...just would like to gain more knowledge on this subject before i change mine sometime soon...:D keep it comin guys :yahoo:

e46fanatic....well good point bro...but personally i can say that certain bridgestone tires have not performed to what i expect them to be...i've used bridges RE711 before...they were all right...then 711 stopped they introduced GIII...wa liaoo....dissappointing...kumho's are good tires but like u said certain models...kumho got my respect when couple of years back i was in a friend's 911 n he was using kumho's n we whacked till bout 260kmh with no issues really...so...i always believe in trying out before judging...high price dont mean good tires n low price dont mean bad tires..in a very simplistic sense that is...:D

Keep it rollin guys :D

hmmm. If I prefer a more comfort based tyre, something quiet and comfy, which would you recommend? I run on 15" and not looking at performance much. Just something to suit my driving style, cruising....

Any ideas? my tyres are due for change soon

you could probably try Michelin XM1 or the MXV3A... energy tyres, save petrol :D

dingchavez...i agree with ylkhor...plus there are tonnes of choices out there...bridgestones..dunlops..eagle f1...so happy hunting :D

dudes, i'm using Conti Eco Contact at the moment. low rolling, fuel efficient tyres. what i can say the grip is crap. i dont want that kind of tyres lerrrr... something comfort based and quiet. as long as have suffiecient grip, i'm happy as a bat having dinner at a local fruit orchard. but energy tyres have low rolling resistance (yalah, save fuel maaa) and crappy grip. hehhee

else? good year? how bout barum??? been hearing about it ever so often
