jap spec 525i or CKD 525i

Hi, All the senior advisor , i need some advice as i got budget around RM 250k looking for E60 525i either Jap recond or CKD E60 525i. Can i know whit this amount to spent what year E60 can i get ? How about the maintainance cost average monthly ? My friend driving his E60 japs sepc year 2004, he told me maintainance cost him around RM 10k a year include 18 inc tyre ??? i read some magazine, they say E60 525 engine wont be problem, the only problem is gearbox ??? Is't E Gear ok ?Thanks

250K would get you 2006 or 2007.
RM 10K is on the high side.
Depending on your usage.
Oil change will cost you around RM700 at dealer. Outside might be cheaper.
Transmission oil will cost you RM1000 at dealer.
Need to change oil on very 10000KM or less.

CKD will have full service record.
Make sure previous owner change oil on very 10000KM.
Not 25000KM as recommended by BMW.
