The situation is worsened when there is a high pressure system. The haze would "hover" around and won't go away.

Like I said before, Indonesia is Da Big Taiko in this region. How dare Malaysia kutuk them. For the time being, 1) Stay indoors 2) Install some air purifier/cleaner in the house 3) drink plenty of water/beer 4) pray to god, wind direction will change soon.

Good idea, and make more baby.
2) Install some air purifier/cleaner in the house
THis might not work. Ther will be infiltration into the house, so unless you have a HEPA filters installed to maintain at least 0.5" WG positive pressure inside the house and a airchange of at least 30, I don't it helps.
3) drink plenty of water/beer
Beer better, as when you drink, u tends to pee more and thus flush out your system. In addition, beer contain alcoho, everyone knows that alcoho is a good cleaning agent.
4) pray to god, wind direction will change soon.

Just take a holiday overseas. Go to Australia, New Zealand or Europe. Come back when the situation is back to normal.

There are some open burning on our side. Oh yea, during our drive to Sematan and Lundu I noticed two to three open burnings!!! omg! We were like @%^@%^#!!!!! lolz!

Btw, not onli has the haze gotten worse but the rate of people getting sick are on the increase as well. Coughs, flu, sinus and other symptoms are on the rise...don't play play!! like wad ALBundy had mentioned...Drink more WATER! and try to stay indoors as much as possible.

oh, the haze seemed to be better today...hope it doesn't thicken later in the afternoon.......

Here are some articles taking from last year's Haze fiasco. Indonesian authorities put some of the blame on Malaysian plantation companies based in Indon. Apparently 8 out of the 10 Companies identified as culprits were Malaysian Companies.

Sat - KL was great - blue sky, clouds - everything
Sun - VERY hazy - choking already

And the ministers/gov keep on singing the same tune, year after year .. DO SOMETHING ABT IT !

I have been experiencing the hazards and it isn't a nice one indeed. Everyone feels the same way. just hope it stops soon eh? And hope for a wind change =)

Take good care of your health and drink more water. A lot of ppl are getting sick in Kuching already...

And I wouldn't be surprised if in the future, the rate of Malaysians getting lung diseases and all will be on the increase...damn...

What's bad is, it has become such a "regular" occurance that we seem to have "accepted" it. Year in year out, no walk the talk............just talk only.
Its been such that our only hope for clear skies seems to be left to nature.....rain and the wind!
What a sad state!!!
