They have the right to stay within speed limit 90 but not at the fast lane! Should stay at the middle lane. Fast lane is meant for overtaking or to whoever feels the need to move faster than the speed limit. This is common sense bro

Actually the F10 was coming fast behind me & I switch to left lane to give him away. Then I saw the 523 badge & start to engage tiptronic & chase him back but he reluctant to give way after waiting for few minutes behind him. Since me just install B8 absober so my car is quite stable at high speed. Then I just overtake wt my 13 yrs old junk but I used signal & all my hid & fog lite is on just to warn car in front I'm coming fast. For me I just speed if I confident on the situation as dont bad thing happened to my precious ride. Once I was travelling at 170kmh & 1 iswara coming from behind. I still give way.

Agreed. Most of the time, care is needed when driving at such speeds. Often shrug my shoulders at the ineptness of certain drivers who would tailgate with all their might, when the roads are actually pretty packed with cars, with the driver unable to keep left.

Iswara at speeds > 170? Nowadays the most reckless ones are those behind the wheels of Myvis. Sheesh.

Yeah. Yesterday was driving slowly along the middle lane on ELITE, after fetching my parents from KLIA, then suddenly saw this very fast Volvo S40 with right signal blinking, overtaking and tailgating cars on the fast lane. It was drizzling all night and the roads were slightly slippery too. He was probably driving around 180 that time.

I personally had the experience of using the fast lane for emergency purpose. I was guiding the ambulance my mom was in as the ambulance driver did not know the way from my place to Federal Highway. On Connaught Highway, there are inconsiderate people hogging the fast lane despite the ambulance just a few metres behind me blaring the siren and I am on highbeam to warn the cars in front so it is impossible they couldn't see or hear us. I had to use my horn at least twice.

Had a talk with the ambulance driver and he said this is pretty normal. He is too used to people hogging the fast lane. Can you imagine ambulance driver also said the same thing?

If i am overtaking on the right most lane (be it at 110 or >160km/h), and when there is another faster car approaching from behind, i shall turn on my right indicator to INDICATE that i am overtaking first, then i shall turn to the left or middle lane once i am done overtaking. And the faster car can overtake me.. real simple and easy to follow rule.

So, what happen even with the 'courteous' way above, the fast approaching driver flash his high beam like crazy? What i shall do is stick to my right lane with the right indicator, and then move to the middle lane when it is clear. I am not risking my safety just to turn to the left and let the IDIOT pass me. All he need to do is wait for his turn and then overtake. SIMPLE. Of course unless his car brake not effective..(or maybe do like the olden days driving, wind down your window and wave your right hand up and down, to give a clearer message that you are overtaking !! )

Well some might not agree with me, but i think, this is a softer approach, give in and be a defensive driver..

Hmm, my personal method when I see a really fast car coming behind me on the highways, and when I'm still overtaking on the right lane, I'd actually indicate on the opposite of yours

but I'd only move once the middle lane has cleared up for me to safely slot in without jamming on the brakes just to let a really inconsiderate driver pass.

So far, not really facing problems cos once I indicate, the car behind would normally not flash and slowly adjust themselves.​

If he is going at WAY ABOVE your speed.....say you are doing 130 and he is coming at 200, I think its not very wise if you want him to wait for you to complete your overtaking.

I would rather let him pass and not have him risk running up my back.....just because i was ahead of him FIRST.

I note that as age goes up, our judgement of car's speed and distance esp those from your rear mirrors deteriorates over time. So this has to be considered as well.

SORRY - what you are doing is ROAD HOGGING.

GOD is not driving ur car, its YOU. The "end up worst" scenario will for sure involve you due to your action of "blocking their view" and blocking the faster car.

Btw, ever tot if they have an emergency, ie. someone in need of urgent medical need to go to the hospital?

I will gladly let someone zoom past me if they want to, nothing to lose.

Its easy to feel angry but sometimes you just gotta ask yourself if that is worth it. There really is nothing to lose and prove to another random driver on the road. Can that holier than thou attitude and maybe we can have more courteous drivers on the road.

Don't feel bad.. these 90s era ///M machines make 286-321bhp out of the box.They are crazy fast.Use to have one once upon a time and many Wiralutions got the surprise of their life when they try to 'play'.I debadged mine,car looked very unnassuming.
