hi guys, just wanna know if the inlet size and fitment between the M20B20 and M20B25 is the same. and is the inlet manifold swappable between the engine head.don't have to know about throttle bodies and all. whats important to me is the inlet areathanksTom

the answer is yes.

I am using a 320 inlet manifold on a 325 engine right now.

Next week I putting a real 325 inlet manifold to it. doing some scrubbing and paint job for it before mouting it.

why the question. Do you want a 320 inlet manifold? You can have mine for real reasonable price :)

hafeel

thanks for the confirmation
i'm actually planning to do some custom intake manifold thing so i need the inlets

how much u want for it???

thanks
Tom

Sanji got one e34 m20 520i motronic intake manifold...

the inlet hole is about d same as e30 325i m20 intake manifold..

its same for all motronic cylinder head...

just my 2 cents....

tom, tom,tom,

you doing the individual throttle right?.........

make sense to use the 320 ones as the runners are longer and narrower helps with low end torque and most importantly the narrow runners makes the intake pressurized and compensated for the individual shorter length.......

bet you didnt know this tommy boy!!!!

thanks kinaka and tj

tj,
not individuals... not that adventurous, although i've thought about it...
just an air plenum fixed to the runners. more for cosmetics... HAHAHA

just thinking....
