What's with pussy? Is he alright?

The M20B25 is a very reliable engine.
My previous E34 has done 270,000 miles on the original engine.
Rebuilt it early last year only because I put in a 3L stroker, not that it had any issues.

Bro x2n, I think after reading the above few posts by mizhan, johnj and iceman68, you can rest assured that the M20B25 is THE engine to transplant into your ride.
FYI, I also do own the M20B25 too, but mine cannot out-run both the M20B25 of mizhan & johnj. I think I need to change my mech.
Good luck to your M20B25 search.

no im not looking for any engine transplant, but was planning to get a weekend car. just to play around and something for my wifey ^_^

thanks to all for the advices :)

but after the fuel price went up, everything change. i am now from looking for a daily bike to ride to my office. man i really need to save cash, i still have no property :-(

its really hard not to drive my E30. eventho its a small M40 but i still enjoy driving it.

nothing wrong with an M40. just keep it running well..

there's one E30 2.5 coupe for sale at mudah, was thinking of getting it as 2nd car. but last week i changed my mind when fuel price went up :p

If you're concerned about fuel consumption, choose an M40 as daily car. Better yet, buy a 5 yr old Myvi on for use on weekdays and enjoy an E30 M20B25 on weekends.

true, that was exactly my plan. i am currently driving my e30 daily. but after a few calculation, turns out if i ride a bike (cheapo bike would do, LC ke, FZ ke...), i could save way more. im not planning to sell my car, but just keep it for weekend.

for now, i have to forget of getting an E30 2.5 coupe, sadly :p

hahaha....

M42B18 rocks!!!!! hahaha... throw spanner into the works...
Not to be mistaken with the M40B18... M42 is way advance compared to the M40..

ooo yeahh :)

In comparison is the fuel consumption of M20B25 so much higher compared to M40B18, both being manual? Agak agak how much more?

My E30 OBC clocks 11.8L / 100km which is approx 25sen / km....The car is equipped with M20B25 engine with Getrag 260 gearbox...3.75 ratio LSD rear differential...chipped and timing cam tuned by BG Motorwerks...

when comparing fuel consumption of engines more than quarter of a century old, it would only be fair if both engines are in similar state of health as well as being in stock configuration.

what i'm saying is it won't be easy sourcing for recently overhauled (to factory spec) M20 & M40 for comparison.
