dear jnswong,

I would advise you to go to Ingress Auto first. Customer service, customer satisfaction...just ask them about the awards / recognitions they received.., Seeing is believing, feeling yourself is satisfying..

BTW, I m an Ingress' staff and i dont talk nonsense!

cheers mate!

& pls do convey my regards to Heiqal, mate :top:

Honestly speaking, I had a rather impressive experience at SA some 4 weeks ago alongside my better HALF. The SA was very accommodating & even went to the extent of offering us 2 test drives in the latest LCI models in which we were more than happy to oblige.

After the next few days, one of their Corp. Sales Manageress, called me up to offer another road test on the 135i without any obligations whatsoever. Thus, I reckon that all of us have had rather varying impressions, perceptions & experiences on these official BMW dealers.

Just sharing my .2 dirhams worth.

Thanx & GOD bless,
~hybrid~

I personally would like to recommend Ingress Auto .. their sales and after sales service is EXCELLENT .. fyi .. I bought my car from Ingress 6 months ago(e60) and it is a pre-owned car .. after two months of using the car .. I found that the car jerks and it takes a while for the gear to change (lower gears) .. to cut the story short .. they actually change the gearbox into brand new parts (free due to the warranty given).. now feels like driving a new car .. and icing on thcake was .. during the 3 days that my car was in the work shop .. they let me use the new e60 .. I must say although I bought a second hand car from them but the treatment was first class .. Kudos Ingress .. I don't mind mentioning their names here .. GM .. Amani(sales) and Anesh (Service) .. thanks guys

I was told there were 3 forummers hanging out at Ingress Auto this morning checking out the BMW Performance Air Intake and Brakes. The place is like a second home for a lot of forumers, particularly the E90 geng. That says something about how friendly their people are. It's great every time I go there, I'm bound to bump into a forumer to kill time.

Quite a coincidence. I knew one of them was coming to view a Bluewater 325i M sport, then I bumped to a 335i club member there, then another member showed up shopping for a 335i or M3. Doing their bit to stimulate the economy

i am just wondering if its bcos there's still relatively fewer customers going to Ingress, hence better attention and service can be given? at some point in time, they will be overloaded with customers just like AB glenmarie... and then complaints will start to roll in.
So, here i wont recommend Ingress to anyone.. PLEASE, dont come to Ingress!! :)

okay, i usually dont visit any of the above mentioned except once to SG Besi AB.. no comments...

now, My boss, A French man who is a bike nut was planning to get a bike as probably he is tired of driving in jams and also looking for some fun on weekends... BMW was in his list of coz.. So i recon him to AB BkT Bintang, as i saw some bikes there...

he was there a few days ago... gosh this evening, he only told me onething - BMW sales person very arrogant without a french accent..hehe usually he does.. :listen:

of coz i ask him wat happened?,, short and sharp... he walked in straight to the bikes. a sales person was on the phone.. so he cont looking around expecting sales person will attend to him after his call.. there were 2 other customers looking around too.. no sales person attending to them either.. actually there was no other sales person there, than the one on the phone...

believe it or not, he looked around again and gosh the person was gone and never came back( for quite a while of coz) enuff to drive a french crazy hehe, in total you had 3 customers in a BMW showroom wt no one attending to them..!!

this is all he told me.. i didnt want to ask further.... he will be visiting Naza this weekend...damn!

Ya, their service center is full every day now (~25 cars per day). A vast difference from just a few months ago. So far service has still been good, and they are expanding the workshop with more bays and hiring more technicians. Each time I see the GM, I keep reminding him that the reputation is there, now the challenge to maintain it. He knows and so far it seems they are coping. Their target now is to ensure that you get a service appt within the week of making the booking.

I wrote at length once about why Ingress is confident they can maintain their service. It's about the processes they have put in from the outset i.e. from day one. For eg. their staff don't go out for lunch. Instead, Ingress has a cafeteria which serves lunch FOC to their staff and that ensures timeliness. This is just one eg. I will look for that thread and share it here.
