It's been about 4 months. And still nothing up. What's happening? What is the schedule for the year ?

Why the silence??

Strip pu.ssytion of Club Advisors if not being constructive and good role models to current committees. Personal agenda shouldnt be a priority... ptui!

Please take note that we had come up with the calendar of events way before CNY, but for protocol's sake we had to run it by BMW Malaysia's corporate communications first. As of yet, due to their work load they have not given us a definate answer or suggestion. We have however decided to post it up, so that the forumers will have an idea of whats coming up. We are trying our best to make those events as memorable as possible for everyone.

Now kennyG.. I believe your reason for your query is because you would like to participate more in more activities, I hope to see you more often then in all club activities.

Pleasant day bro.

It would be nice to get BMW Malaysia involved. However if they aren't too serious in giving us the necessary support, maybe we should forge ahead without them. Afterall, BMW Malaysia had not given us much support since the formation of this club!!!

For instance, is the BMW CLub Malaysia invited for the Heritage Car show?? Obviously we (this club) do not feature prominently in their plans.

I am envious that some other car clubs with significantly lesser members are given great support by the manufacturers/dealers.

Rgds

I think we should give BMW Malaysia due respect but at the same time we shd not let them hold back our plans. :)
After all, we r supposed to have quite a fair amount of autonomy in that we r not funded by them, neither r our office bearers under their payroll.

Nevertheless we r obligated in some ways to protect their brand & reputation, so ther4 we ned not go overboard in awaiting their absolute approval, so long as we have been mindful of their requirements.

I'd suggest that our committee take a stance that our club shall wait no more than 7 working days & if there's no response, go ahead with what they have planned.

WEll..said uncle 2 cents :)

Its important that the schedule of events be posted up early so that members will have ample time to plan their own schedules. We all would like not only to participate but to see the events to be a great success :)

Thanks Guys for you toughts... good stuff.

The Committee does appreciatte valuable inputs and sugestions like yours.
