Hi guys,is the front ball joint is really priced at 600 ringgit inclusive of labor? i need to get this fixed as the klonking sound is driving me crazy but my mech is making me loose sleep with that price.is that the normal price?thanks!

Hi mate, i feel ya man... Tell u d truth most mech will cut ur throat when they see the propeller logo car coming in.

I buy my own parts n send to a very honest mech (most mech dont like u to buy parts). My e60 and e30 are both maintained by this fella. PM me to knw more

There are 4 ball joints on both sides, and need to be pressed out hydraulically.... Labour is something like RM50 each.
U can always call up the BMW parts dealers to enquire the prices for the 2 pairs of ball joints.

If you're referring to the front control arm ball joints, just buy the entire control arm that already comes with new ball joints installed. I believe I checked with First Division previously, it was probably RM280 per side or something. The labor to install the pair will probably not be much then.

I bought a pair of used lower arm before, with around 2 months old ball joints and lower arm bushes for RM290. Installation costs me RM80 including alignment.
