It's confirmed that they will held a DI next Mon. They issued me a second show cause because I did not sign and return back the letter as instructed by my manager. In the show cause letter they say it was a grave offense that I did not follow my manager's instruction. That offense will lead to disciplinary action including immediate dismissal. I replied saying I had a bad headache at that time with proof of medical receipt and medication. They did not accept my answer and decided to charge me together with all the other allegations. This is starting to become a joke haha.....

to have a better understanding of the situation:-

1. What was your manager instruction?
2. Was the Manager instruction given via verbal or written instruction via memo or notice
3. Who gave the manager instruction?
4. Why in the management opinion that you did not follow the manager instruction?

to answer you:-

1. What was your manager instruction?
Manager instruction was "return to the office immediately and sign the show cause letter"

2. Was the Manager instruction given via verbal or written instruction via memo or notice
It was given through conversation over the phone

3. Who gave the manager instruction?
I am assuming nobody gives my manager any instruction

4. Why in the management opinion that you did not follow the manager instruction?
Because when my manager instruct me to "return to the office and sign the show cause letter", I refused stating that I have a bad headache as the reason with proof of medical receipt and prescription

bro.. sorry lah for the confusion..

I was referring to the 1st cause letter which the company issue to you.

Time to record all your conversation.. especially the DI.. use your HP as recording device..

Guess the DI is just around the corner. I used to do this but has been on the employer side all the way thru. Again my advise ... stay calm and be professional. I've seen a lot of cases that the staff lost bcoz they just cannot control their temper especially when the Management came out with all the funny/weird accusation/statement/proof. They shouted, bang the table, warn the Managers, blackmail and even challenge the employer side to step out for a fight. They ended up with more problems. And of course by that time, not a single soul in the office will pity him. And the impression will be "No wonder he got into all these problems".

Hello guys!!! my case is getting more and more interesting. My DI was scheduled for today 3 pm and I was there on time. They kept me waiting for 3 hours until finally they came. They gave me another show cause letter and on the new show cause it stated that the show cause supersede the previous show cause letters. I told them how can they simply change their course of action when I have already replied the first show cause and a DI has already been scheduled. Interesting eh?

There is a reson why they kept you waiting for 3 hours. Firstly, they silently wanted to tell you who the boss is. Secondly, they purposely wanted to let you wait in agony. The longer you wait, the better for them. Chances are you will fall apart. That was where the psychological game started. Don't be fooled.

Just 1 question.. Do you still want to work in this company?

Remember to keep your cool at all time.

If in doubt, just keep silence and reply that you will reply them in due course.

Keeping your cool is the best weapon. Record all conversation with your HP. Basically, it your word against them. if you have a recorded conversation and it is proven that they provoke you...jeng jeng jeng.
