no worries... now still inda midst of writting an official complaint to BNM and the CEO of maybank.. but chances are slim...

no worry dude...albeit chances is slim...still its beat then ZERO. cheers!!! take it as a good lesson in experiencing such scam so tat u will be all over alert shall some1 idiot try to scam on u the next time. people learn from failure n mistake afterall. good luck bro n update us constantly here.

After making various complaint's... Finally, only FMB (Financial Mediation Bereau) has arranged a 1 to 1 with Maybank representative later this month... Its just funny why Maybank or BNM didn't offer any of this options or take any action....

anyway, i will update you guys on the outcome... hoping for the best although chances are slim..

Update:

Finally after FMB took over the case ....

Maybank returned RM2k, actual amount lost was 5K ..

Take note that the letter stated, after consideration they decided to refund a sum of 2k out of goodwill as we were one of the early birds in the scam.

Thanks.

glad that your ordeal is over ...nevertheless at least there was some returns rather than none ...rm2K for a holiday would be best for you ...time to destress IMHO :)

..sorry to hear all this...i have had situation where someone actually pay 1K to my account, then lady called me and introducing herself as a maybank officer and she wanted to ask me to pay money back since it was banked in by mistake on to my account...fine, so i said no problem..then she aske dme to pick up that amount (1K) and came to some Maybank somewhere in PJ, and i immediately rejected that , and her reaction was 'frightening' me by police..actually that pissed me off, and i told her, that i require name of the person who banked in money and that I will be at KL Sentral Maybank so that person should come, and i will return money in front of KL Sentral maybank manager, and thats all about it...till today, nobody ever after called for that 1K..im wondering, what was that junk all about..

Wow! i see RM1k beer money..

I had a case that brought up to FMB before and lucky I won the case and the bank has to waive all outstanding charges.. stupid bank's negligence, resulted in lost of my title, so I sold a house without title.. what a joke!
