Almost sounds like some high school kid taking a hacksaw to your car exhaust... haha...

Decided to join my old group of VW kaki's for a dyno session this morning for my 320d. Managed to get a 170whp and 372Nm reading at Vision at Sunway today. Will try to post up the graph later :D

Not far from stock 184HP 380Nm
Yeah I was quite surprised as the previous comparison I had was a post by Paul Tan which showed a couple of 320d being dynoed at GT Auto and from my experience when I dyno my Golf at GT Auto and Vision, GT Auto usually gives me around 5-7whp more, I was pleasantly surprised with the figures.

Was getting a baseline before the powerkit arrives :)

make sure you do us a favour and get a dyno done with the powerkit!

carlsson, if not mistaken , did you change your L/100km figure?

change? not really, ive been updating it every week when i pump gas..seems i'm getting these figures when im driving in the city

A bit off topic, I finally driven the F30 320d. side by side the e90 320d looks more menacing but maybe because it's msport version while the f30 is plain vanilla version. but interior wise, f30has potential. engine wise, the f30 one does feel responsive. handling wise, tendency to under steer rather than over steer.

Until a sportier version of f30 320d arrives, i feel my 320d is still better. well at least before i try the 328 or 335...

Ditto bro, I'd wait for the f30 m-sport version to have an 'apple to apple' comparison:cool:

Just had my first post BSRI service after doing 68k.

Decided to go to my old workshop in Subang to get it done. Oil change cost me 490. Also changed all brake pads, skimmed discs and changed sensors for 1250.

Just wondering if anyone did a post BSRI service at AB or any other dealer and how much it cost.

Which oil did you use? And was the oil filter changed as well?

I was told by Quill that oil change service cost between RM600 to RM700.

i was quoted rm522.50 for engine oil and filter excluding service tax and service charge from tian siang, ipoh..

Pads only had a few mm on them. Tried to get them replaced before my bsri was up but the sa at ab refused cos "the indicator" isn't triggered yet.

Used shell helix hx7 d. Changed the oil filter as well for rm118 which was part of the rm490.
But if the bmw authorised dealers to it for rm600, then not too bad a deal actually.

Definitely mate! The previous dyno was to get a baseline of the car while stock. Will dyno after the powerkit and will also dyno after installing the BMW Performance exhaust as well.
