Really need advice

I've already booked a pre owned 320d and now on the verge of selling my existing vehicle but the 99% feedback from all my contacts been telling me to change to 320i not because of the car but due to the diesel quality in our country .. the 320d is with 3 years warranty so really need advice from any current user of 320d

Any of your 99% contact own a bmw diesel before ?
We have 62 listed owners of 320d and some of them got their cars from 2009 and runs great without problems so far.
You can check with e60 530d owner whom has run more than 5 years, again no prob.
The key is regular maintenance and using the right type of diesel.

Looking forward to welcome you to our list of 320d owners.

Take the 320d, I am like you before i bought it. Now I am a happy owner which pay very little for fuel (diesel) compare to petrol. Also the power of 320d can "smoked" 320i. You must test drive both. Malaysia diesel is good enough for the diesel engine. I have been driving diesel (pick Up) for donkey years, no problem with the engine at all.

Malaysian 320d has the DPF (a kind of filter at the exhaust) removed, so euro II diesel not a problem. If you had DPF then it will cause problem.

go for it................

my family have 2 bmw diesels at home (E70 X5 3.0d, F10 520d) and soon to have 320d E90 and i would say the engine and performance are still good. No problems encountered so far as both have clocked 50000kms and 17000kms respectively.

Trust me, dont listen to those naysayers, test drive the car and own it with care. im sure the car will serve you and make you happy.

Dear madjazz,
I just got my 320d right before cny and since then i truly understand the meaning of "sheer dirving pleasure". I was once a guy like you having skeptical over our diesel quality for 320d but after a thorough study and several surveys conducted, i gained back the confident and i'm enjoying the ride everyday. Full tank of RM103 gave me slightly more than 800km mileage, that was my first recor of its fuel consumption. 5-year TCO on fuel saving is huge......go for it madjazz!
