you're right! drivers were holding on to their steering wheels, passengers holding on for dear life.

maybe next diesel outing might be a "simple" TT at the end of the year :)
lots of holidays end jan/feb, so we might just plan another catch up around that time, which shouldn't clash with the Patin run.
i'll move the discussions over to the diesel TT thread, to avoid going too far off topic here.

in summary, how's our 320ds' doing? doing just fine!!!!

Looks like it was a great drive, guys. don't think my 325 can catch up lah.
Would love to explore the winding roads though.

We look forwards to the next drive Maniac bro!!!

The best thing about the 320d and 520d is the strong camaraderie amongst its owners and the fact that we always meet up for TTs and great drives!!-like today's drive to Raub, Ulu Yam and back to KL-lunch with durians too in Ulu Yam!

Thanks Maniac bro for the superb organisation and planning...thanks to the participants for being such good and merry company!....TiTan, Kong, Mat6689, Wuk51 and Trading Crew!

This is a really a fantastic drive, wet, slippery, winding and challenging. Bravo, Maniac. great leading, Kong. TiTan, docrayboy, Wuk51 and Trading Crew, you are the great participants. Let's do it again with lots more members and UDMsss.

I think around 3-2k before the service is due. Can't really remember. I always service at every 8k but due to busy schedule I stretch until 11k this time.

Wow...the service centers don't bark when you come in so early?

I've never had anyone bark at me coming in early. AB Sg Besi told me to come earlier the last time when I came in with 2-3k left on the obc.

Great! I always come in with the service counter about 1K km or less.

man my service counter reading has been dropping for a new car..initially 12k, then 10k, then 9k to 8k, and yesterday it's asking me to drive in by 7k!

my last milage was 10l/100 at 600km, which was kinda high..resetted everything, and changed my driving style, and now Im at 8.4l/100 at 800km..i guess my heavy foot was getting to me..

It is normal bro..our udm counting for servis depending on your driving style...mine normally went for servis every 10km cycle due to frequent driving and my heavy foot on the pedal...ok what..every time servis free..no need to think much about it..just enjoy

I always have a complain for them to check on when I want to do early service, so normally they will just change the engine oil instead...;)
