CRV is 4 wheels drive, will it drink petrol like drinking water???????thanks, willie

Same like my dad he likes SUV as its easier for people like his age to get in and out from the car. :D

both r good cars....crv consumption is a bit high .... more so stuck in jam...facelift crv looks very fresh...end of the day it boils down to your dad driving style...since u said your dad likes to travel alot accord will have better ride quality and is more comfortable...seats and interor. peace

I'll take the Accord anytime. I find ladies like SUV more, ie my wife. Most of the points above justifies it, if not the ride & handling. I'm not sure about living with an Accord, but the CRV interior is so easily scratch it looks ridiculous even though its brand new.

thanks tinmen, but the fuel consumption for CRV is a bit high when compare to ???

:) if he likes to travel a lot by car,i'd suggest the Accord.CRV tends to burn more fuel during long distance driving due to poor aerodynamics compared to saloon cars..
it'll look more majestic too when compared to the CRV.maintainance will be less for the Accord as there will be no propshaft, rear axle and differential etc to service and worry about.
in terms of space, there's actually not much between them except maybe the CRV is more of an estate..so its easier ti fit stuffs in the CRV.
so Accord gets my vote..

Most folks I know who own the CRV... don't enjoy driving it after a while. Even my collegue's wife who got one (i-vtec) passed it to him to drive after the novelty of the new car wore off and started driving his perdana V6 instead cos its more responsive and easier to drive.

So yea, I'd go for the Accord. I drive the 2.4 sometimes when my buddy goes diving and leaves me his keys to keep his car "warm".. Not bad at all. Good low end torque and can tar-lun on first gear from stop lights in D mode only. Only gripe is that driver seat is hard and you'll get uncomfy if in it after a while

if fuel consumption is a concern (ought to be in today's price), advisable to get saloon car unless u have a few saloon car at home and then 4 x 4 be a nice alternative

When I sell the E46 ... I'll get a larger body vehicle for the piece of mind..

The Accord looks just about right ;) Most sensible.. ;)

Then again.. Maybe the E38 prices drop enough...

hmmm :dunno:

In term of comfort, i think both car are ok...but in term of safety, CRV will be better at least it's a big car.....but accord got the look.....and if i'll make a choice....Accord of couse.....Better power n FC :D

so almost all vote for accord leh, does CRV has any advantage ah??? other then cheaper and bigger space????

Safety...better view when u drive especialy at night....

Given the same displacement the CRV is tuned for slightly more torque low to mid range compared to the Accord. CRV is part time 4WD only so fuel consumption is still relatively ok compared to other full time 4WD vehicles.

As to which? It depends on your application.

Stick to accord bro..crv is like driving a brick ..fuel consumption suffers. :D
