An Intimate Encounter with the X1

I saw the real thing in the flesh about a week ago. Didn't quite like the shape and size at first glance. The rear looks very much like Q5. But I'll reserve my comments till I steal the 2nd glance. Will drop by the dealer soon to check out the mini beast. Size-wise, I think it's pretty close to the X3.......smaller in fact.

Are you sure what you saw was an X1, or is it a Q5 with BMW badge :rock: (that would be one ultimate Audi). X1 rear is of similar styling as the E90-LCI or F10. And the Q5 rear is just like their saloon's rear styling which I dislike.

During the launch event, somebody driving a Q5 pulled up into AB's parking lot. I thought AB actually want to give X1 potential customers a side by side comparison. Well the Q5 belongs to a customer who came to view the X1.

That was the first time I saw a Q5 up close. The rims on Q5 however are awesome!!
