Unofficial BMWCM Go Kart Race


There will be a go kart race for forumers.. CG and OM alike. Details are as follows:

Date: 26 January 2013. Hopefully weather will be a nice and dry.. unless someone did not take shower the night before.
Time: 1530 hours (please be punctual)
Venue: City Kart, Shah Alam
Vehicles: 80cc fun karts
Event format: 12 mins practise, 12 mins qualifying (based on average lap time), 12 laps race
Cost: RM150 per pax

All participants are advised to bring along a helmet with at least a visor. The track do have helmet but could be at wrong size. Most SIRIM approved open face helmet is less than $100. Do wear something dark in color as there are some splatter and dirts. A Rempit Sleeve on your right arm would be a good thing to have too...As in any motorsports, certain amount of risk are expected.

PS: Any pink color on drivers body will give advantage of 0.5s. Higher for pink tshirt with protruding nixxxx!

Thks Jeff 4 joining us n providing us with yr advice on d driving lines n braking or shd i say non braking points. I still owe u a BKT. Was very surprised 2 c nitedevil there. This nitedevil must b hokkien like me n , daniel. D ks went secret training by himself n not informing us. Very fun but tiring afternoon.

Minor Rules Update

As some karts are faster than the others, the karts shall be assigned to participants for Qualifying and Race by way of lots drawn.

Rule No 17 (2) (a) ... Divine intervention is strictly prohibited. Participant who is found or believed to have sought any form of divine intervention shall be penalised accordingly. An addition of 5s to their qualifying and/or an extra 2 laps for the race.
