Great product.... BTW it works on my E36, though not all the features, cannot identify the car type, but can diagnose the 4 options, I think it's DME, EGS, ABS and something else. I managed to clear my Torque Convertor error, now my gear switches properly, don habe to press all the way down to kick down.

OK I have managed to install the USB driver for Win7-64 bits computer..

Yes you can use 64-bit OS, however you need to do the following

1. Download Virtual Machine
2. Download XP Mode
3. Download Updater

Install all the above
Then in Virtual Machine mode do the following and install Machine virtualization Mode

1. Install BMW scanner 140
2. Plug in Device - will detect hardware
3. Install driver manually - point to c:\bmwscanner...\drivers\
4. Select driver D2xx


If you cannot see the BMW 140 device under USB, you will have to map it manually under Machine virtualization properties.

1. You will have to create a pipe from your USB drive to your Virtual Machine, copy the hardware address from the USB port in 64-bit mode.
2. Input that address in the Machine Virtualization Mode.... the addresses are different depending on Manufacturer.

You may use the same setup if you have MAC/OS same concept, have to run XP Virtual Machine

Ya ka? ... no wonder... mine is enterprise-64. Took me several hours to do it... so what did you do? because before I went this way... I was looking for a 64-bit version of the software, and if can do not want to run virtual mode... your option would be a better one I think

Mine is M52 ... if not mistaken is OBDII compliant ... I read many forums that say it is la... but I'm no expert. Next test to see if can work with other programs or not.
