Mine 525 mSport 07, on run flat tyre 245/40/18, full tank can hit 550km( 8.9km/litre) 70 urban: 30 highway.
i use only BHP Ron 95.

Don't know whether you can get Shell V-Racing Power (red nossle) in Butterworth or Penang. Try to mix 30% Shell V-Racing power with 70% RON 95.

Shell V-Racing is different from VPower (RON 97). V Racing only avalaible in certain Shell station and price is RM2.45 per litre and the nossel is RED. VPower (RON 97) nossel is GREEN.

Yes, pump 30% Shell V-Racing and 70% Shell RON 95. I am using this mixture and feel Ooooouuummm. If I go outstation, I will fill full tank with Shell Racing and give me about 850km for my e39 525i.

Yes bro, the power is world of difference. The torque in 530d is simply breathtaking 500Nm and fuel consumption is easily 25% better than the petrol version. Click here for more details

For 180k you should be able to get 530i 2004 model (M54 engine) and RM160-170k for 2004/05 530d. Unless, you travel at least 100km per day, I personally will stick to the petrol version. Perhaps, we should invite the comments from the diesel owners?

Yes, very high indeed. You should be getting at least 600km+ for a full tank or an average 8.5km per litre. Have you change your fuel filter before?

:top:well put Jerman, diesel is good if you do plenty of travelling and "robeking" ... :biggrin: but need a bit of extra of "looking and maintaining of things" to get your full investment worth. I hv had it and it has clocked 269K and surely has given me my moneys worth, so to speak :listen:

My full tank E90 320d gets 700-800km. 6.5L/100km. I drive fast, I always overtake all the cars with less than 350nm torque.I am a torque person. They call me the diesel Stig.
