Hey guys, I recently put a set of 20inch rims on my E60 525i M-sport.. The tires are 255/25/20 and 285/20/20.. A couple of things i noticed.. Fuel economy, i feel has dropped quite abit. Im not sure if its just my imagination or not but is it supposed to drop drastically? Secondly, the rear scrapes the fender everytime i hit uneveness or bumps on the highway with passengers.. Is there any shops in KL that can roll your fenders for you? Any suggestions from anyone else using 20's? Hehe.. Other than that, looks awesome but im worried about tire consumption and fuel consumption. hehe. kenny

On shops that can roll your fenders, go look for Shedden at Motorsportsdivision

Separately, your tire size looks wrong - should it not be 285/25/20 at the rear? and 255/30/20 in front?

hey kenny,

welcome to the DUB club =) i use F245/35/20 and R275/30/20 and it goes fine, with very rare rubbing ( unless super super uneven roads) =) by right, tyre profile should be 30 and 25. Yours is ok if you are lowering ya ride if not, it might be too thin, andyour rims... a picture for us to see ?

Fuel consumption definitely takes a hit, every quarter tank i go about 125kms. I'm using CSC2 for a year now, clocked about 20k kms and looks a plenty to go. And i drive it daily.

My bad guys..

The tire size is actually 255/30/20 in the front and 285/25/20 in the rears..

I jacked up the car yesterday and i can see that there are rubbing/rubber marks just on the metal fender abit right before it becomes the rear bumper.

No rubbing when only driver and chiq in the car! :D

But when carrying multiple chiqs in rear, maybe even the odd best friend pork chop or so, then rubbing occurs at higher speeds on highways..

I think ill visit Shedden and get the guards rolled in a week or two when some other stuff comes in that im waiting for..

Blackhowling: Pai seh pai seh bro.. I just read my pm in zth.. cause i hardly log onto zth.. hehe..

The thing is the exhaust i would prefer to sell as a whole from the front to the rear of the car as it is made specially for the RB26.

However, i do know that BLitz also sells the Nur spec Cat back version which is substantially cheaper but im not sure how much cheaper though..

Last but not least, i dont have the standard exhaust to put on if i sold it to you which is why i was hopping to swap + cash top up with another GTR owner.. hehehehe

Anyhow, thanks for asking bro.. Interested in my FMIC? erm.. oil cooler? hehe..something else lar.. :D

kenny: hehehe.. FMIC? don wan la.. mine ok oledi... 3 core GREDDY... thicker then dopod fones.. hehehe...
