A big thanks to Lee for organizing this activity! Also, it was great meeting up with you guys!

Got a good introduction to car detailing from Hypercoat and also "invested" a couple hundred bucks on their products, talk bout impulse purchase huh... The moment I arrived home, I gave my car a good rub deep inside, the seats and interior of course ;)

Yeah, thanks Lee for such wonderful event. It was very well organised and everything went smoothly.

Thank you for the breakfast too....guys, I think Lee paid for us :)

Kudos Lee for a well organized event. Really a pat on the back, but couldn't find you at the end. A great thank you to Hypercoat team as well. Go the distance in ensuring nobody went home empty handed, so obliged to get their smooth clay package also.

Nice to meet every "Car Crazy" people there as well.

Cheers.

I keep thinking Lee had made some commission from the outings but really, I couldn't be bothered because I learn a lot from the outing and even if he did, its a well deserve one.. :D :top: and yes thanks for the teh tarik!!

Got a chance to apply their ScratchX to my 3 weeks old E90 on the few shopping bag scratches on my door.. :( and I must say the result is amazing!!! The best product I ever own to take care of my Black Sapphire. :top:

This is what I call Product for Emergency !!

I actually got very confuse during the product briefing because of the many "dimension" of their product which some are overlapping. Even the towel slides keeps appearing until I really thought u need different towel for different product or something.. :(

I bought the Wash Mitt, the long bendable rim brush, applicator pad, and of course the amazing emergency product ~ ScratchX !!

Can we walk in any day to get those discounts? hint* hint*

Thanks from me too to Lee for organizing a fun event for all of us. Thanks for teh in the morning mamak too lol.

It was a good workshop, met lots of new people and got to ask the Hypercoat guys tons of questions. Came home after spending more than I should have lol. :D

I tried the Washing Mitt this morning. What I can say is AMAZING!!! Nothing compare to Good Morning towel la.. :D

It saves water too!!

I normally use 1 bucket of soap water for a car but with the Meguiar Mitt, 1 bucket can wash 2 cars le!!! The Mitt internally can retain the soap water to keep it wet. So no need to keep reaching for the bucket to wet our normal washing towel.

Money well spent!! :D My missy also tried it on and she too loves it... :D maybe about time for Meguiar to organise a ladies-only demo so we men don't have to keep washing car for them.. :D and have more time for TT.. :D

A big thank you to our dear Mr. Lee for all his efforts in organizing this event.:41: :41: :41: Also, a big congrats and thank you to Hypercoat for a successful event. It was wonderful meeting up with all my fellow Entwicklung fanatics and hope to join in and meet y'all for future events. Cheers :top: :top: :top:

Anyway, I'm thinking of dropping of my 'M' sized ride in Hypercoat for a buff. Just too busy to DIY. Anyone else thinking about this too?:1:

Astroboy,

Glad you found the workshop and the products useful. However, a bit saddened by your thinking that I made some commissions. Young man, not everyone is out to make money in everything one does... tsk tsk...

The event is fully sponsored by Hypercoat, including the venue, the labour and materials to prepare the 2 show cars over 2 days, the catered food, and lucky draw prizes, not to mention the time and effort that the lovely Ms Esther and her colleagues have put into organizing and executing the entire event. We owe them a big Thank You indeed. I doubt the profit made from the sales that day can cover the expenses of the event, much less pay anyone any commission... Cool?

Most welcome, Climenta. It's a good idea to book early if you plan to do it in time for Chinese New Year. I understand they get quite full.

Oh yeah thx a lot for breakfast too Lee! :top:

No pbm dude.

So, it was a nice, full turn-out. I was pleasantly surprised.

Many many thanks to all of you who participated, sacrificing your personal time on a Saturday, and special thanks to those who volunteered your cars as the show car and for taking the time to have your cars inspected.

A big THANK YOU to Hypercoat for the time, energy and expense of planning and running the event. And a special thank you indeed to Esther, Lee, Wong, Johan, and many many others in Hypercoat for your hospitality in hosting us and enlightening us on the finer aspects of detailing. Also, special thanks to En Farid Sulaiman, the Mini Brand Manager of BMW Malaysia, for taking the time out to grace our humble event.

Hope everyone had a good time and learnt some useful things about detailing. Do share your experience in using your newly acquired detailing products and techniques!

Happy buffing.

I hope we can get to see the group photo and also the individual photo of us receiving the lucky draw gift (together with the lovely Ms Esther) hehe.

The ones taking photo on the day were:

1) Lee36328
2) Albundy
3) Meguiar's own in-house photographer
4) Climenta's friend (sorry forgot his name)

Mr Lee, muchos gracias for organising this enlightening event and apologies for having to leave so early after arriving late....Young man should have his ears cleared from left to right with the pliable yellow rim brush to clear his narrow-mindedness!
Perhaps with your pix you could do a short article that we can feature in our auto magazine.... keen?
Many tanQs to Hypercoat for putting up with us.

Lee, excellent job in organising this. Kudos!

Only thing from my side, the Hypercoat sifu forgot to apply sealant after grinding my paint with Diamond Cut (85). Luckily I have the Mequiars' synthetic sealant :) hehehe...
