Hi all, I've been driving my 323i for 3 years now and during those times..I've changed the sensor 5 times, every side of the wheel once. Most recently was last month, front left tyre..which brings me back to square one when it was first happened. The total cost of the sensor plus labor is about RM300 after 50% off from BMW Malaysia on goodwill. And this discount was obtained after my service supervisor had to 'beg' as my car i just happen to be over the BSRI period. The question is, when is BMW going to rectify this problem as this is an ongoing problem to most of the E-90. I;ve asked one of the service supervisor, those sensor failed mostly on those E-90 with 6 cylinders, and everyday at least 5 - 10 cars comes in to change it. For owner like myself, every year changing 2 sensors on average is not logical as these sensors are meant to last. Hopefully the BMW Malaysia guys can hear us up, at least when it come to this sensor need to be replaced, at least be more generous in giving goodwill discount as this is not a norm to have this same sensor failed each time.
