Hi guys, haven been in here for quite sometimehow are the old timers? hope you guys are goodlast year, december, my E90 LCI 320i had a weird issue.During certain driving conditions, when my car comes to a halt, or slow down for cornering, the engine idling would be very low or the engine would die off itself. This went on until January i was able to send my car in for checking (AB JB). After checking they told me 2 faulty O2 sensors, so i got it change, cost me about 3-4k for it, and some other leakage which has nothing to do with the engine shutting down.Total bill caused me about 6k. After repairing got the car out, that was late january already or early feb. Drove ard for 3 days, everything was fine. On the 4th day the same thing happen again. This time round happen when i was in singapore, they engine practically went dead for about 7-8 times, with me restarting the engine on the go. Next day sent it back to AB again. After a few days i was told it was another 2 O2 sensor which was faulty, they have to redo and check again. Hence my car spent the whole CNY inside AB.Gotten my car 2 weeks ago, drove it for the weekends, everything work like a charm, back as usual. But to my dismay, the same shit happen again after a few days, although not as serious. Oh ya, the warranty is over, i bought this car nov 09Guys anybody read or have any issues like this? Whats pissing me off is they cant even rectify the correct problem, and is the o2 sensor that easily prone to spoiling?Guys need some advice... thanks

I am rather surprised that O2 sensors were defective as it usually begin to degrade at about 100,000 km. From your above symptom, looks very likely the camshalf sensors could be the source of the problem.

my car is no where near 100k yet, and im surprise tat thing rosak tat fast

The idling is very unstable only when u come to a halt or a slow down

Where are you located? Suggest you go to a BMW specialist workshop and have them plug in the diagnostic scanner and check for fault codes.

Fuel filter clogged? could lead to low fuel pressure at low RPM. This will not log any error.

no error log

herbert, im in jaybee
auto bavaria not bmw specialist?

AB is bmw specialist. What Herbert meant is to get outside mechanic (more reasonable price bmw specialist) for 2nd opinion or checking.

Since you are located at JB, perhaps you can pm OM JFT63 or InitialM (both from JB) and request them to recommend a BMW specialist.
