The stock mirror looks great but the problem is, it's not electronically foldable. Sometimes when you park at tight spots and you need to manually fold, it looks a bit odd and funny :)

I will be getting my E60 530I white after Raya, and I've to say your modification is awesome bro! I love your tailpipe very much, but mine i think is 4 tailpipes, will definitely consider into it, and also your rims' color, they looks perfectly matched! Well done!

thanks kk123. for those who is interested with the tailpipe... better get it fast. i heard it's fast moving... :)

Bro Noobie..Good mod and keep it coming . Where did u got the tailpipe from ?

Hi Shiva73,

Kelvin HP 016 666 55 44 @ Pandan Indah

GPS N 03 07.891 E 101 45.836

I went to the place and there are only 6 units of tips left. Initially I wanted to do only the tips but now ended up waiting for a Hamann Quad exhaust (replica) to come. $$$ again :(

bro noobie...i'm kinda interested in D-powered bmw..mind telling me the performance side of it? thanks

JFT63,

to date, i'm very happy with the car. i think it's value for money. i get the performance kick and at the same time it's lighter on my wallet. truth to be told, you need to get ready for negative comments from nay-sayers about diesels, blah blah blah...

the car feels lethargic when you are driving slow(it's a heavy car btw) but once you get it to speed, you will find it to be very energetic & lively. It can hit 220kmh easily but anything more than that will require a longer road(or angin tolak :)). When i say easily, I really mean it... the speedo meter will just go up till 220kmh and if you want anything more than 220kmh, it will take a while. If you are on speed (say > 130kmh) and when you accelerate, there aren't that many cars that can play catch up with you. i have not squared it against 525. i do believe the 525 will have higher top speed, but the torque of the diesel will allow you to pull away from a 525 but only till a point where the 525 can catch up(which is 210-220) and go beyond that.

i'm not sure how to word it but the suspension is kinda sucky. i don't have confident to go high speed all the time. at times, it feels like a whale, will change it when the time comes.

why am i comparing with a 525? well, since that is the next best thing a 5 series can have and the 520d is more like the underdog(raw and brutal). I think it can be a fair comparison.

btw, this is IMHO. those driving 525, please do not get offended ok. i'm impressed with the s-6 that you guys have compare to 4 potter(sounded raw).

The torque for the diesel is simply too high, lol. My N53 is only rated 320Nm when it's 3.0 litre so imagine the force pulling when you accelerate :) If only I knew you earlier, I'll get a diesel and save some money from road tax (I hate the government so much!)

Try upgrading your sway bars...=P

thanks for the input ade.

U may look for Racing Dynamics or UUC Motorwerks. They produce great sway bars..tremendously changes the dynamics of the car..
