Those are the seals for double vanos.

checked with albert...he can do it for me...

single vanos will include changing gasket, 15 x valve cover bolt grommet and the beisan vanos seal...

talked to him two days ago on the phone, he quoted me estimated less than RM400 for parts (except vanos seal) and labour. parts include gasket (around RM110-120) and 15 "seals" at RM5 each?

anyway, this is just a rough estimation...why not give him a call and ask the price and job required?

hahaha...if you can wait la...not sure of when i will be sending yet...need to see how my work schedule is...but once it's done, i'll post it...

i really hope that i can see/feel some improvement after changing the seal etc

Estimate of less than RM400 is a very reasonable price with parts and labor from Albert of WP.

Are you arranging for another group buy soon. I am interested, but not too such if it is double vanos for my 05 525i.

The reaction I got from those who have changed are really enjoying themselve as if they have just gotten hold of a new bimmer again.

Also what is the life-span of the seals as indicated by manufacturer?

If you are referring to the life-span of seals (original BMW), it is between 25K to 30K km. As for Beisan seals, I think it is 100K km. However do go and visit www.beisansystems.com for more details.
