Kayzhen911,

Thanks for revealing the person whom you bought your Beisan vanos seals from. So X-Benz aka Lightningstrike aka T2RibenaMother aka Littlebug aka Momoboy aka KitE92 aka Rocketfella now re-branded himself as Honest Joe (at Mudah.com). Interesting.....very useful supplementary info to assist police investigation and hope you can be a witness later on. Thanks again.

Guys,

Like what Kayzhen911 said earlier, take your vanos seals package out from your glove compartment and have it replaced soonnest and enjoy the new driving pleasure.

Finally the seals went in.
Labour RM150.

First impression, idling more stable during cold start.
Not sure because i have read the thread, i personnally does feel more punch during low end. Felt the engine 'tighter' (dont know how to explain).

Another satisfied buyer.

For labor charge of RM150, it is really a bargain considering the time (3 hours work) taken to complete the job.

All depends on your relationship with the workshop.

Anyway Jason from MSports @ Aman Suria is really very very nice and helpful guy. I don't send my car there but I've done some minor stuff there before. Top bloke and he's very good with diagnostics.

does Msports do this work in a clean way? ie on a proper work table top or something?
the reason i asked is, if you see the photos on here, optimum seems to do the job on the workshop floor raising my doubts on their understanding. this is a precision type of work on a precision piece of item which would command a proper place to keep sand grits away!

Not many workshop actually have a proper table top to do the work on. Maybe naidu has, that white table next to the stairs :top:. He can change the beisan seals for you if you need, but don't be expecting world class workshop la!

Unfortunately they dont have tables to work on. LOL.
The shop is clean but again like any other workshop.

Kayzhen911,

Good to hear you are satisfied with the new seals and better to use full synthetic oil.

You pm me that you bought your Beisan vanos seals from a forummer. If you don't mind, can you let us know who is the forummer that you bought it from?? I lost 3 sets of Beisan double vanos seals to 2 Chinese conmen who came to my collection centre. One of the conmen ( a former banned forummer) has been positively identified by the collection staff. A police report has been lodged and investigation is ongoing. I just hope that you did not purchase your Beisan double vanos seals from the said banned forummer

When I asked you whom you bought your seals from, your answer was honest joe. There is this guy by name of honest joe aka HID specialist aka X Benz and I am certain that you bought the seals from him. Let me tell you this straight up. This is already a police case and I will let the police take the statement from you and the seller of the seals.
