Hi all, been having this issue with my 2014 BMW X1 20d (e84) for quite a while now - excessive black smoke when I fully accelerate.

Note: I ONLY pump Euro5 diesel, either from Petronas or BHP.
I've driven other BMW diesel cars (X3 20d, 320d) and they all seem to be fine, no such issue. I've also been observing other BMW diesel cars on the road and they all seem to not have this issue.
I brought my car to the Quill PJ Service Center several times already and they told me they will do a thorough check, but in the end just tell me that this is normal for diesel cars and they can't do anything about it.
I can understand if it is just a small puff of smoke when I accelerate (It is a diesel car after all), but mine is like FULL ON blowing out black smoke like a freaking exhaust outlet of a char kuey teow stall.
Help! Is there anyone facing the same issue with their BMW diesel cars? If this is not normal, what could be causing it and what are the possible solutions? Appreciate any feedback!!!
