Dun worry la bro.... it's normal (nothing alarming/serious). Mine also vibrates a bit and not more than 5 seconds. This shows how powerful our engines are. This vibration or shaking is no cause by engine mounting.

Sounds like the special vanos program designed to heat up the cats fast. Its stated on the E46 manual, but the E90 is much smoother and this program lasts much shorter than the E46 325i on cold starts.

and i find out my aircond when u set the minimun level, u can heard the wind sound normal then suddenly huge then back to normal again....headice....

paulpaul2, I'm sure your aircond is set to Auto, and that's why the fan speed automatically increases to reach the minimum temp you set, and then decreases. This is how it's supposed to work! You really ought to read your manual or see your SA and get him to explain all the functions of your car. Eg. I'll wager that you don't know what the Max or Auto-Recirculate buttons do on your aircond.

Car shaking for 5-6 sec on start, sounds like you have a rough starting-idle, and this is an adjustment of the idle settings to be done at any of the dealers.

Press Max and your aircond will set to lowest temperature and highest fan speed. Press Auto-Recirculate and it will recirculate only when the outside air is no good, otherwise it will let in outside air.

Go see your SA la. I'm not an SA you know!

if you want a third party to diagnose your car, i have a friend now in KL who worked in a BMW dealer for at least more than 15 yrs. he just started his own center. very nice guy with the right attitude! go visit him and seek for his advice on the probable cause of your problem if you have any.
