Hi all, I bought an e46 318i converted to a m54b22 engine. The car odo shows 330k KM but I'm not sure if this is the correct kms as the engine was swapped. Not sure if the previous owner updated the odo to match the new engine.
I have serviced the car using Castrol Magnatec 10w40. The engine has been eating so much oil.
Eg, I drive from Sungai Buloh to Subang using NKVE about 4 times a week. When I drive the car hard, i think it eats more.
Every week I have to top up the engine oil. I topped it up to reach the max level of the dipstick. In a week of driving normally and hard (4k to 5k rpm), it drops to just above the min level.
Any oil recommended for my engine and any issues to look out for? Some advised me to use a thicker oil such as 15w40.
Also, does the Lucas Fuel System Cleaner and Upper Lubricant helps with this issue? If so, do I add in before the next service?

All 6 cylinders misfiring.
