Engine jerking and sudden stop at traffic light.

Hi ,
Good day to all. im driving a 2005 bmw e90 320i and current the car guve me some problem. The engine is sudden stop at traffic light when it is idle and the gear is neutral.. Some times its a bit jerking.. Can any1 help me with this problem ...

it also happens to me frequently, anyone facing the similar problem too?
the jerking part should change the solenoids. costs rm1.5k, quite common on e90/e60

Suthan....since this happens in neutral,ignition coil is suspect.these cars need hooking up to a diagnostic reader to determine faults.

think might be the ignition coils,cost roughly bout rm 300-350 each,advisable to change all six one go.or else u might end up in failure on another ignition.sometimes can be just oxidization need to clean them up n hook it back in.hope it helps.

Bosch ignition coil from Bavaria Auto is RM 76.00 each. Can't be RM 300 - 350 each !!! I replaced mine 8 months ago.
