e90 325i - Red Light Battery Warning . Please Advise

Salam and hello all ...i got problem with my e90 325i 2006 Uk Spec . after 4 months using this UDM ... this morning the Red Light Battery appear on dash after start the engine ... please advise that i can still drive this car or how? ... your advise very appreciated . TQ ..

currently i'm stay in K. Terengganu.. please advise if have any good workshop to go... TQRegards,

Batt light lighting up normally means that the battery is not being charged ie. the alternator has issues.

You can still drive.....straight to the workshop and no more coz as soon as the battery loses its charge (which is very soon)you will get stranded.

Thanks so much moots ... already arrived at workshop .. and the problem is.. Alternator issue.

anyone know how much cost for changing new alternator for e90 325i ? .. the owner of workshop told me it's cost more than Rm1k +++ ..?

dunno plus workmanship or not.. need to order that sparepart first... waduhh. kena tunggu 2-3 hari ..coz public holiday - deepavali... jemm...

did you changed the alternator? what brand and how much? how much is the workmanship? did you change the battery? sharing is caring :rock:

Check my recent posting at E90 maintenance. My foreman changed my alternator for RM1,100.00 but labour was inclusive of a lot of items. He used borch OEM.
