Bro Nailofar,

Besides mudah.my, there're several other local car4sale websites, eg carlist.my, motortrader.com.my etc. Also, many conmen out there posting in websites, so please be extra cautious when you deal with any of them.

Btw, should you ever have the slightest thought of buying a 1 series instead, PM me :4:

Good luck again in your motor-hunt.

Cheers.

thanks bro Ryou and Jonz.

everyday i also seach in mudah.com and found this nice car but something not right with the car i think.

http://www.mudah.my/E90+BMW+320i+SE+Full+M+Sport+kit+owner-14560519.htm

for the pictures, the background is somewhere in oversea and it is left hand drive car. Contacted the owner and he said he dont have proper time to take proper picture. maybe scam tactic.

Hi seewai,

thanks for the website suggestion and the offer. But my attention is more to 3 series vs 1 series. also good luck in ur sale bro.

Today I went to Maybank, Ambank and RHB to ask about car loan but surprisingly no bank can give the loan. There is a guideline where the bank cannot give loan to a car that has no outstanding loan from bank. Meaning if i buy a car by cash, second buyer that want to buy my car cannot get loan from bank. i just know it today.

I think it might because of the car was brought in using student AP, that's why it's not eligible for bank loan. But browse through....a cheaper car may need more attention later so get a mechanic you can trust to check it for you. You may want to join Paka TT guys for over there in Kerteh. (keje plant ke kat Kerteh?)

Anyway 320i E90 is using N46, much similar to N42 engine in E46 and it's quite manja compared to M54 or even N52. Avoid an engine with any sign of sludge when you open the oil filler cap....one advice among a lot others

that cant be right, unless its a new ruling, i have sold many cars which i bought cash and the next buyer took a loan

i suspect u have not taken loan b4, so you are not in the system, so being young the banks deem you a credit risk maybe?

They don't even checked my name but just asked whether the car has outstanding loan or not. If not, bank cannot give loan because it is risky to bank to deal with direct seller. Maybe it is new rule.

If I am not mistaken, Bank Negara introduced a new guideline on loans application/approval (be it for cars, properties etc) sometime earlier this year (or was it beginning March 1st 2012). Main objective is to 'control household debt', so we can expect a much tighter system being at play i.e. Susah nak dapat loan (i dont work for any financial institution btw). Heard in the news last week even Proton/Perodua sales took quite a dip because of this new ruling. One could only imagine what happens to the rest.....
