doesn't affect N52 Magnesium engines?

Same question..mine is 2007 LCI N53B25 engine, uk spec..doing more than 50K km alrdy.. do i need vanos replacement ? does this engine uses vanos system ? sorry, kinda noob question..

N52 & N53 do uses vanos seals but unfortuntely Beisan Systems do not produce vanos seal kit for these 2 engines.

Hi Azam9636, just to check with you, how is the combination of the Brembo disc with Textar pads? Also the rear combination. Are you experience any squeaking sound?

I would like to use tis combination asit sounds reasonable.

Nowadays there are so many new brands of engine oil in the market and every brand claimed to the best. Engine oil importers deployed workshop to promote their lubes with lubricative commission and in return workshops will aggressively try to sell you the oil. I certainly won't want to take the risk of putting unknown and unproven lube oil into my engine irregardless what the workshop said. End day if anything happened to my engine, don't think the workshop will take any responsibiities. Best is to keep to reputable brands and of course ensure it is not fake.

I have ordered the Mechatronics aka Valve Body for my 530d RM5400. For those who are using petrol 525i, the price is RM4800.

I have not decided on the workshop to change this bcos the workdshop must be able to do coding.

Anybody can help me on this and how much it cost. Changing the mechatronics is no brainer but to code it need special tool like auto logic

bro,
Thanks for sharing but based on my personal experience, I believe your ATF, the ATF oil pan/filter and oil filter charges were at least 30%-45% higher.

Themech change me for labour around 1k++ .. Is this prise reasonble?
