just did first service at Optimum Autoworks, Kayu Ara since got the car last week.

below is the breakdown of the charges:

Ravenol Fully Syn 10w/60 (6L) - RM385
Fan belt - RM96
Vacuum hose - RM33
Front brake pad (Texstar) - RM196
Front tie rod (RH) - RM238
Control arm bush set - RM400
Wiper garnish - RM280
Side mirror cover + spray (RH) - RM240

TOTAL = RM2069

sent the car for gearbox service (ATF and filter) and steering rack overhaul this morning. gonna spend at least another RM2k.

Next up will be servicing of aircond @ Naidu. Was quoted RM380 for new receiver dryer, valve and oil servicing for compressor.

hello there, mine was 318 2.0, however, lately there are screeching sound when braking and i'm wondering what is caused for. do the brake pad running out or other cause?

Did some minor repairs at MSPeed:

Vent Valve - RM 200
Accelerator Cable - RM 120
Windshield Wiper Motor - RM 70

Now the car feels lighter with item 1 and 2...thumbs up!!

Which workshop did you send for the repair above bro? ... Not sure about the work done but the price of the parts can be cheaper. Maybe you need to look for a alternative.

FYI i change my Oil Sump Gasket bought at Bomin Auto RM 80 and Fuel Pump bought at BA RM385(refer my posting #1214 three pages backwards on this thread & posting #1148 pages 115)

Did some parts replacement and service at Bomin just to try them out.

Went over to solve my power steering and vibration issue but end up replacing the radiator and expansion tank as well as John did some pressure test on the cooling system and radiator was leaking.

Did replacement of cooling system hoses at Optimum earlier this month but somehow radiator was fine then.

Thermostat still working hence no replacement required.

Parts:
- Long shaft bush - RM75
- Power steering pump - RM850
- Power steering reservoir/filter - RM100
- Power steering fluid - RM105 (3 bottles)
- Exhaust gasket - RM80 (2pcs)
- Radiator - RM550
- Expansion tank - RM220
- Outside temperature sensor - RM100
- Air cond filter - RM75


Workmanship - RM280
- To service long shaft
- To replace power steering pump & reservoir
- To replace radiator & expansion tank

the sound somehow isn't that obvious anymore after i changed to the SMG paddle shift steering wheel. gonna leave it for now first & focus on other stuff.
