My first major damage (more to come??!! ... lol) @ BOMIN yesterday

Parts
-ATF Filter + gasket RM 100
-ATF Cooler RM 430
-Diff oil seals, side (x2) RM 136
-Diff centre oil seal RM 38
-Diff rear big gasket RM 30
-Diff oil (90) RM 22
-Diff oil stabilizer (1/2 bottle) RM 45
-Used Rear Coil Spring RM 150
-Spring pad x 1 RM 48
-Front bumper car plate frame + Base plate RM 100

Workmanship RM 280
-change ATF oil
-change diff seals + gasket
-replace auto cooler
-replace rear coil spring

Total RM 1,428...

excluding the ATF oil which I brought my own which is Petro-Canada Dexron VI @ RM 520 (RM130 x 4 bottles - 4 litre each). Was hesitant at first, but after much review and research, decided to go with this. All GM5 gearboxes uses Dexron VI, and not the ZF lifeguard 5 that many workshops / spare parts shop use.

How s the performance after the ATF change bro? Any good?

well so far so good...transmission is smoother, less noise, definately recommend it if yours is a GM gearbox ...if you need the contact let me know, I will PM u...

For past week abs light has been on n off. Finally got it checked today at M-Speed. It was the seat sensor pad on the passenger seat side. Cost of replacement was 1k hihi at least can drive now without the stupid light disturbing my mind. Is this the price paid reasonable guys?

yeah about the same per litre as I bought them ...I bought 16 litres...did twice flush with 2 atf filter change , 1 week apart..gearbox is super smooth now... :rock:

bro.....this sensor is a seat occupancy sensor.if the seat is not occupied,the airbag will not deploy thereby saving us from replacing an airbag unneccesarily.this sensor can be bypassed for cheap.....http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=771535

if this bypass is installed,the airbag will deploy in an accident regardless if the seat is occupied or not....but baby/child seat kenot put in front la......

just an alternative that's available rather than spending rm1k.....

6 ltr is suffix for oil change without ATF filter change but you do need 16 liters if you need to flush every drop of your old ATF and have ATF filter change. Not so expensive so its best to have proper change.

I was told mine is running on DEXRON VI of other brand hence I purchase 6 liters only.
