i saw but didnt know what that was because i was told by them that they were trying to detect the source of leaking from the coolant container. M Power Technique at Desa Tun Razak.

Is the price for oil level sensor reasonable? RM 250?

It is a pressure test that was done to the cooling system. They attached a pump at the coolant
inlet and pressurise it. there is a pressure guage which will show you a certain pressure have to be
maintain for about 5 minutes. If the pressure drop slightly, then there is a leak.

I see. Thanks for the info and yeah, that was what exactly was done to my car but they did some additional check on the tubes and refilled my coolant. I guess it was worth RM 80 for all the work?

Had just replaced my E46 318i 2002 engine. My mech replaced it with a second hand unit imported from Japan. Done it at MSpeedn USJ. Good service from Ah meng aka Kenny. The old unit got major leaking and oil was mixed with water in the engine. Most probably caused by the previous mech do the top overhaul wrongly. Please beware of a workshop located @ TTDI Shah Alam. They do not do BMW but they said they can.

Cost : RM9500 + labor

so the white smoke and oil loss resolved?mine is N42B20 also..experienced the same thing but not to bothered with the oil loss for now?wonder if that is the price for top overhaul

Auto service filter (cant read the handwriting but it's together with changing the gear box oil) RM 180

Battery (Din 75) RM 450

msport absober front and back? or should i change to bilstein or any of the other sport absober? how about the price, is it almost the same? spring? can i use the standard msport spring if i change to other sport absober?
