sunilram, I'm going to echo haywire here by saying that bomin auto is quite an ok place to go to. Optimum in Kayu Ara is not too bad as well. What is the name of the workshop you went to?

If u follow the forum, there are few famous workshops and highly recommended by members but mind u, they are not cheap.

When u plan to own an UDM, sure u know she will burn your pocket..hehehehh..

Engine Oil (5W 40 ROWE Fully 7L) - RM 385
Oil Filter - RM 45
Valve Cover Gasket M54 e46 - RM 165
Oil Sump Gasket - RM 145
O-Ring Lipstick RM 45
Miscellaneous - RM 25
Labour Charge ( engine oil services, rectify oil leak, dismantle n replace parts) - RM 280

Total Lost (after discount) ==== RM 1050


KIV Remarks for next: tie rod steering rack, lower arm n bushing (end of dis month maybe)

1. Engine oil 2x 4 lits Penzoil 10W40 RM 200
2. Power Window rear RM 350
3. Oil filter RM 35
4. Radiator hose 1pcs. RM 150
5. Reset oil services -FOC
6. Labour RM 120.

Not sure about both places but you may try Optimum @ Kayu Ara.

There is a workshop called Benny's Car Auto somewhere near Pelangi Condo pass the townhouses near the SME Bank kilang, they do mostly BM and european cars. A friend of mine sends his car there and according to him reasonable, donno yet to explore.

Also referred to as gearbox mounting consisting of 2 pieces. Price about RM 140 for 2 pieces. A simple job to replace the mounting.

Yea Herbert, thx..u got it correct, i meant gearbox mounting... But, he mentioned something else needed to be changed as well, on the front side of the gearbox, if i understand him correct, the gearbox mounting is the 2 pieces at the backside of the gearbox. The front one is the one that gonna cost me rm400, unfortunately, i dont really catch the name of the part.
Need to change coz my previous mech screwed up, the gearbox is mounted a bit backward, compared to its original place..
