Hi everyone,I have a 2003 E39 520i, and I have noticed that the ride height is about 1cm lower on the right hand side. I have been told by a few workshops that this is normal. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience on this. Also, I am looking for a good BMW workshop around the Bukit Antarabangsa area. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks very much!!

Aiyo1cm shouldnt be any issue. you looked at your car too much hehehe

Enjoy the car!

Hi bro,

Not sure of Bkt Antarabangsa area but you can try Optimum Motorsports at Kayu Ara . Look for Jason or Ah Fai

Cheers,

Yup haywire right, dun looked to your car to much..thats normal for e39..e36 more worst..i used to have that feeling too until i observed others e39 and asked my official foreman, he told me thats normal..

Bro, I also once have a 2003 E39 520i.

Many pay so much to lower 1cm or 2, or maybe even more...our E39 got free 1cm drop, on one side, half luxury for free!! hehehe.

Jokes aside, it's normal lah bro. the car is designed to be LHD for a balanced weight distribution, so since ours a RHD, sure off-balanced, slightly.

If you really want to have it balanced up, I've heard of people adding heavy stuffs to the LHS of the car!! This 1cm drop is no longer free but very affordable!!

Why not shift the battery in the boot to the left to balance it out. Lol.

lol....lol
I too was worried!!!!! Our 2 39 also got that similar issue

I think it would be good......as for my 34.....my batt is relocated to rear seat Left side....so no issue.....but 39...eh hesitate...maybe place 2 gallon of water there for emergency use and balance up a bit
