Oh ya since everything out maybe its good to do engine bay cleaning & anti rust spray:top:

time to exercise bro ...while you are getting old you need the blood flow rate to move well while driving ...

check/change waterpump, waterjacket,pulleys,oil pump and its filter,vanos unit-if $$$ permits......thats what i did for peace of mind.....

btw i got a Dinan ori chip for 325i.....interested?

wiring harness are being taken out to lay out the new wiring ..therefore there is no cut and paste involved here

Since all interior stripped maybe you can check out for any rust & improve sound proof. For me E36 is still better to drive compare to E46 except for the soundproof:top:

to my surprise there aren't any rust for such an old car ...

bro the padding of the floor board carpet itself is thick and darm heavy already and not to mention the wirring looms too carries an extra weight load ....

E36 was engineered way advance of its time & still feel & look good till now.
Since everything is ok u can concentrate more on engine. Port & polish buat tak?:listen:

Wow its really nice to hear that you are very much satisfied with your engine and its time to change it.Just try to sell it,you will get a nice price of it.Buy the same one from the same shop.Again you will get better quality engine.
