Bro, it does make a difference to how light the car engine feels and takes off. I wouldn't know if it unleashed new horses or not...but what happen was, he tuned the ignition timing & fuel map for optimum firing & delivery thus refining drive-ability. Throttle input feels much lighter after the map and of course, engine note was on a different level altogether...:D :D :D

And the psychological effect also added 10 more horses :D

I have one 528I, local assembled, 2000/2001, how much can you offer?

If you're interested to sell your car, it'll be advisable to do so at the classifieds instead. Of course with a stated price!

The first one looks like a better bet as the dealer is willing to give you a 6 month warranty. I just noticed that the first one does not have the original BMW ICE. It has been replaced. How would you do your in car settings?

The 2nd one is not an m-sport although he has the m sport bumper, rims and mirrors. It has quad tail pipes which makes it look cool. I wonder whether it sounds and performs as cool as it looks?

My advise is to take it to a mechanic to get the cars checked out. If the dealer is not willing to let you do it, then walk away.

Both also is not Ori MSport. The easiest way to check MSport is the Black Antracite Headliner including the sunvisor and blackened chrome trims at the interior of the windows,Polished silver trims at dash and doors. Msport door sills and of course MTech Sports Seats.

Not necessarily silver interior trims. Mine is an M-sport and it comes with wood trims.

To look for an M-sport, look for:

1. Black antracite roof lining (as above)
2. Shadowline window trim (black window trim, NOT chrome window trim as in those adverts)
3. Sport seats
4. 3 spoke steering wheel (2 types, old and new)
5. M sport door sill

Bumpers are easily changed so cant be judged from that.

M-sport or not originally the side mirrors are the square type. The oval type is M5 replica mirrors.

Interior of my car for example:

Nice...

Need more advice from sifu,
1. How to check whether any display pixel issue? From this pics, seems to be ok? Mileage 162k, not sure genuine or not.

2. Dealer claim both sets of keys are original..

3. This part in engine compartment can see water condensation.. what's wrong with it?

does any m sport variant seats come in suede leather?

I think I've seen a few on the net although I imagine they are quite rare. Normally the suede (called alcantara) is only wrapped in the bolsters, the middle bit is normally cloth.

This is from an E39:

Its not to my liking though. Always looked rather messy to me somehow.
