Conti 17" Tyre Price Klg v PJ/KL

Over the weekend fitted 4 new rubbers on my ride. Purchased 4 x Continental Ultra Contact UC6 225/50 R17 at RM 380/pc from Klang. These were 2017 manufactured tyres. All the retailers in KL and PJ quoted me between RM485 upwards. Saving > RM100 per piece, it was worth while taking a Saturday morning drive to Klang. Even a friend of mine working at Continental was surprised that Klg was retailing at RM380/pc.

It pays to shop around before hand. Collected the tyres at Klang, brought them over to Heap Soon (Segambut) where my refurbished rims were ready for collection. Tyres were fitted and balanced.

I think because some of them are grey imports hence cheaper?
