this is the scratch and win scam but now gone Hitech..instead of scratch and win which the government is going to clamp down it is now Scan and Win...Fuuuyoh terror lah this fellas....but to me its always a Scam and Dont Win.

Hmmm, got a similar call 2 days back on some credit card matters. Told them I am busy in a meeting and if theywant to try me again, to call be back during lunch time. They did call but due to bad reception , we got cut-off. They never did call again.

And yesterday, got a call on some Bonuslink promotion and that I won something. as usual, I told them I was busy in a meeting and that they should call me back during lunch time. And they did call back but as usual, due to bad reception , we got cut-off. They never did call again.

Now I am wondering how they got my handphone number....:thefinger: :thefinger:

As some of u may ask... the place that is famous for baby shark dish in klang is located at the 10th mile of jalan kapar (as informed by a colleague). Should be the road heading to kapar town. Still waiting for someone to tell me the name of the shop

It everyday lah.. Lunch and dinner.. deep fried coated with flour.. yum..yum..

it next to the "plutonic phone shop" about 10 meter after the walkover on the left side of the road. also directly opposite the KFC. Need to make a U-turn at the traffic light if coming from Klang or Meru..

And what are the authorities doing it about? Just slap their wrists and allow them to continue with their scam? Why not catch the buggers, lock them up and throw the key away? Or this is BOLEHLAND, anything goes, when there is the $$$$ sign.

I kena on the day I was rushing for the club's launching one idiot came when my house gate was open ready to drive out this idiot came and asked for a few minutes to talk and I say I am in a rush. while talking same story to cut short and I won a car, immediately I say if so don't waste my time give me the details I contact you and claim, I got no time to listen to bullshits and not a cent I will pay if true,he says I got to pay road tax & i say no problem but he demanded that I got to buy some product from him in order to get the car, right away I case him out don't waste my time anymore don't fool people I will report, I spoke to his boss too and happen from Klang too.
To me if its a win fee gives just give lah don't turn around and say to buy others I case him out. If my gate was close I will never entertain people I don't know no time for them, my gate always lock day or night to avoid these idiots.

Now Malaysia Police already have the group for internet case " Jenayah Cyber & Multimedia " ..
They can check back all the detail & account .. of cause must with proven hard copy..

I encountered before... 1st case in PJ, indian motorcyclist act pitiful and told me that he came from S'ban and no more petrol.. Asked for RM5. Thot nothing much of it and just gave as charity.. Then some time later in KL, the same chap tried the same story on me. I recognised him and told him "You again ah?" he went off...

2nd case, while waiting at the traffic light at the intersection next to Armada hotel, one Malay pakcik knocked on my window. His story was that he's from S'ban (again???) and needed bus fare to go home... Didn't give him anything... Saw the same guy at the same place again some weeks later...

These are the con-beggars, telling you sob stories for a few bucks. Except for that one time I give RM5 to the motorcyclist con-beggar, I ignored the others that came after that...

Also, nowadays got a lesser of those calls from China, used to get a lot a few months back. First question is always: "Do you speak Mandarin?" in mandarin... Knowing that it'll be some con job, I pretend don't know.. But I've heard some funny stories from a fren who had time and answered the call and chat with them pretending to be interested and all until the caller gave up and hang up phone.. hahaha... Maybe I should have tried play along one day when I have time.. Since they are the one paying for the call charges. Free entertainment...

There are many of these fools around. We ! some old time members of the forum here did apprehend one F**ker. This guy was a OKU some more.... thats why he escaped without being slammed. Guys who had teamed up...hehehe u know who u are! At least we managed to get back something for one forummer who had fallen prey and stopped another few from falling prey. Kudos to those who were there.

Guys, beware of fake Astro technicians...they are on the loose again canvasing in disguise as Astro guys, with uniform andfake id cards and all. This was highlighted by Astro themselves when I made a report on my faulty Astro service some days ago. They told me not to open the door unless these details are verified: Name, IC on ID to match and correspond with their IC of which I am supposed to demand to verify. Job report number and description given to me earlier over the phone to match with theirs etc...only then do i let them in..
