BVO ECU Remapping for e46 / e39 / e90 / e60 / z4 / e63 / x5

They call it 'transmission slam'. You can search for it in BMW forums. May have something to do with the ECU mapping. After remapping, the transmission shift is much smoother at low speeds. Speak to them on what it all means. I'm not sure if the power has gone up, as I've got no dyno test and this was not the intention of my mapping. I just wanted a better drive and this is what I got.:top:
 
Hi tosoon,
If you can tell me roughly what tools you see them use to 'remap' your car, I should be able to guess if the company Remapped your car or they fixed the synchronising problem and uploaded a new gearbox firmware (if there is any). With due respect, I am sure they are reputable and having been in the auto servicing line for a couple of years.

why remapping is very important?can anyone explain to me clearly.how about fuel consumtion?tq
